How It Prints
The Smart 21S uses direct-to-card printing. Direct-to-card printing works by pressing the printer ribbon directly against the surface of the card as it passes under the printhead, transferring colour or black text straight onto the card in a single pass. It's the same principle as a thermal transfer label printer, just applied to a plastic card instead of paper. Because the printhead sits right against the card, it's fast and inexpensive per card.

How It Prints

Security Built-In as Standard
Every Pronto100 includes HoloKote watermarking, which is included on most Magicard printers. It's there to make a counterfeited or tampered card obvious at a glance, without needing any special equipment to check it.

The 2XL+ card printer uses dye sublimation and thermal printing to create professional events and oversized ID cards for international events such as sporting events, concerts, and fairs. Its ideal for producing passes, including VIP and backstage passes and official accreditation for performers, participants and organisers.
