PAC Cards

PAC and KeyPAC proximity cards are the access control cards and key fobs that open doors on a PAC system: hold the card or token near the reader and the door releases. The range covers ISO proximity cards, mag stripe versions, a keyring token, a MIFARE smart card and coloured PAC token clips. You can match new credentials to the reader hardware already in your building. The cards and tokens are supplied in packs of 10.

Plain ISO cards are the KeyPAC PAC-CD-CR-KPAC and the Pac PAC-CD-CR-PACC. Both are also available with a magnetic stripe added, as the KeyPAC PAC-CD-CR-KPAC-M and the Pac PAC-CD-CR-PACC-M, for buildings combining proximity entry with a separate swipe system. The KeyPAC PAC-CD-FB-KPAC-CLP token is the keyring fob, which suits contractors and drivers. KeyPAC cards and tokens work at 125kHz and the Pac ISO cards work at 153kHz, while the Pac Smart Card PAC-CD-CR-OPSL is the 13.56MHz option for readers running MIFARE credentials. The ISO cards are standard CR80, the 85.6 x 54mm credit card size that fits any lanyard, wallet or cardholder you already use.

My card says 21030 or 21018. Which card do I order?

Both are earlier codes for the KeyPAC ISO proximity card, which is now supplied as PAC-CD-CR-KPAC. The magnetic stripe version, formerly 21031, is now PAC-CD-CR-KPAC-M.

What frequency are PAC cards?

KeyPAC cards and tokens work at 125kHz. Pac ISO cards, formerly 21039 and 21041, work at 153kHz. The Pac Smart Card PAC-CD-CR-OPSL uses 13.56MHz MIFARE.

How do I tell a KeyPAC card from a Pac card?

A genuine KeyPAC ISO card has four black dots in a square in the bottom right corner. If you are still unsure, send us a photo of an existing card and we will confirm the match before you order.
