Delivery and Returns

Delivery

 

All orders for stock items received before 3.00pm will be dispatched the same day.


If an item is out of stock, we will notify you immediately and provide shipping times. This is usually no longer than 2 working days.

 

UK

 

Flat Shipping Rate

 

Our standard shipping typically arrives next working day. Please note that it can take 1-2 days. The flat shipping rate is £6.50 + VAT on each order, and is free on orders over £150 (excluding VAT). These rates apply to web orders delivered to mainland UK only (excludes Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Islands, Scottish Highlands and Islands, and AB31-AB54 and PH15-18 postcodes).

 

Other Delivery Options

 

If you require your order urgently, there are some faster options for you to choose. We offer guaranteed next day delivery by the end of the business day, by 12pm, or by 10.30am depending on your needs and location.

 

The prices for these services are based on weight and volume on each order and will be calculated at checkout.

 

Royal Mail Standard

 

Some lower value or smaller items can be shipped via Royal Mail, and will only appear on eligible orders. Royal Mail state that standard parcels will be delivered in 2-3 working days (including Saturdays). This service is not tracked and we cannot be held responsible for any delayed or missing packages.

 

Please note that there may be delays to all shipments due to Covid-19.

 

Same Day

 

If you need your items urgently, same day delivery may be possible depending on your location. Please call us on 020 3744 2333 prior to placing your order.

 

If you are local to Northampton then you are welcome to collect from our offices. Please call prior to arrival to confirm your order is ready for collection. Update: Due to Covid-19, all collections must be pre-arranged and follow a strict Covid-19 safety protocol.

 

Weekend Delivery

 

If you urgently need your order delivering on a weekend, please give us a call on 020 3744 2333 to arrange this.

 

Please note that we don’t dispatch items on weekends or public holidays.

 

Europe and the Rest of the World

 

For those who need delivery to Europe, our standard shipping takes between 2 to 8 days from dispatch depending on location. If you need your order delivering urgently, there are a number of options for you to choose, including delivery by next working day.

 

Delivery to the rest of the world can take between 3-7 working days.

 

The fees for these delivery options are calculated at checkout, based on weight and volume per order.

 

Due to the worldwide difference in border charges, we cannot guarantee that all customs fees are paid and therefore we will not be responsible for any local customs charges that your items may incur.

 

Delivery Location

 

Please note that your order will be delivered to your chosen address between courier hours of 9am-6pm and will require a signature.

 

If you need your order delivered to an off-site location (such as a temporary office), please give us as many details as possible, including a name and contact number, so we can ensure your delivery gets to you.

 

For deliveries to secure sites, please let us know about any security procedures for deliveries.

 

Tracking Your Order

 

You will receive an email from our courier when the order has been dispatched. Shortly after, you’ll receive delivery details, including your tracking number. You can then follow your order by clicking the link in your email.

 

Undelivered Orders

 

Please ensure that there is somebody available to sign for your order. If the order is returned to us, we reserve the right to charge an additional standard shipping rate to reship it to you.

 

Part Orders

 

If any of the items you ordered aren’t available, we will ship them as soon as we receive stock at no additional charge.

 

Missing Orders

 

If you have not received your order and it cannot be tracked via your courier, please contact us and we will investigate. Please note that we cannot refund or ship a missing order any sooner than 10 working days after the original shipping date (also applies to personalised items).

 

Missing Items

 

If you have any items missing from your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt by emailing sales@plastic-id.com and quoting your order number and the details of the missing item.




 

Returns

 

To return a non-faulty item

 

If you have ordered the wrong item and would like to exchange it for the correct replacement, please fill out our RMA form within 28 days of purchase to arrange a return. You’ll be required to send the item(s) back in an unused, resaleable condition in the original packaging.

 

If there is a difference in price of the item you have returned and the exchanged goods, we will either credit you the difference or invoice you for the remaining balance. Original shipping fees cannot be refunded.

 

Please note that we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20%.

 

To return a faulty item

 

Please contact us by filling out our RMA form and we will see if we can resolve your issue.

 

If your item is deemed to be faulty, we will ask you to return the item to us so we can investigate further with the manufacturer.

 

Non-defective items will be subject to a 20% stocking fee, and items that are found by you to be incompatible will not be deemed as faulty and so will subject to a restocking fee of 20%. Shipping fees are not refundable.

*Please note that our returns policy does not apply to special items such as: pre-printed or personalised cards or lanyards, custom-programmed technology cards, software, or items we have ordered specially that don’t appear on our website.
 
We can only exchange or refund items that are in resaleable condition and their original packaging, including manuals, discs, cables and other accessories that were included in the sale. You should also include a copy of the original sales invoice.

Please note that you can view our prices in US Dollars or Euros by changing the currency at the top right of your screen.

 

We offer four secure payment options for web orders:

 

Credit/debit card – most major credit and debit cards are accepted.

 

Bank transfer – if you choose to send us a BACS payment, we will contact you with our bank details so you can make the transaction. Your order will not be shipped until the payment has cleared fully.

 

Invoice – if you’d like to set up a credit account, you will be subjected to a credit check which is usually completed the same working day. Once cleared, we can offer you 30-day payment terms and invoice you for your order.
