FARGO DTC4000 Ribbons

Every printer ribbon on this page fits the FARGO DTC4000 desktop ID card printer, in single colour and full colour. The ribbon carries the film that transfers onto the card, so your choice decides whether cards come out in plain black, a solid spot colour or full photographic colour.

The full colour ribbon for the DTC4000 is the YMCKO 45100, which lays down yellow, magenta, cyan, black and a clear overlay in one pass. It also covers the DTC4250e. The YMCKOK 45110 adds a second black panel for the reverse of the card, so it suits a dual-sided printer. It also fits the DTC4250. The Half Panel YMCKO 45114 has a shorter colour panel, saving film when only a photo or logo area needs colour and the rest prints in black.

Monochrome ribbons cover everyday text and barcodes. Those are the Standard Black 45102 and Premium Black 45101. Red 45105 and Blue 45103 handle coloured text and logos, while White 45106 prints on dark or coloured card stock. Every one of those also fits the DTC1000 and DTC400. The Black Ribbon With Overlay 45111 pairs a hard-wearing black image with a protective top layer. The Dye Sublimation Black With Overlay 45113 does the same for softer greyscale photo work.
