Magnetic Stripe Cards

Magnetic stripe cards store data in a strip on the back, ready for you to encode for an access control system, membership scheme, loyalty programme or time and attendance setup. Buyers call them swipe cards or mag stripe cards. Everything on this page comes blank, ready to encode and print with your own design.

The cards are all CR80, 85.6 x 54mm, the same size as a bank card, so they fit the printers, wallets and holders built for that format. They are solid PVC at 760 micron, the usual thickness for a card that goes through a printer and gets handled daily. Every option is sold as a pack of 100.

The main choice is between high coercivity (Hi-Co) and low coercivity (Lo-Co). Hi-Co Magnetic Stripe Cards have a darker stripe that resists accidental erasure, which suits staff passes and access credentials people carry for years. Lo-Co Magnetic Stripe Cards take less energy to encode and suit cards that get rewritten or reissued often, such as short-term visitor passes.
