Zebra ZXP Series 1 Ribbons

Zebra ZXP Series 1 ribbons are the genuine Zebra consumable you load into a ZXP Series 1 card printer to print names, photos, logos and text onto blank plastic ID cards. White, black monochrome and full-colour YMCKO ribbons cover most jobs on this printer. Each one is matched to the Series 1 printer, so you get the print quality and image count the machine was designed for.

The YMCKO colour ribbon, part 800011-140, prints about 100 images in full colour on a ZXP Series 1, using the yellow, magenta, cyan and black panels for photo ID plus a clear overlay panel that seals and protects the finished card. The black monochrome ribbon, part 800011-101, runs to roughly 1,000 images, which suits high-volume single-colour work such as staff names, barcodes and simple text. The white ribbon, part 800011-109, prints around 500 images and is used for white text or blocks on darker or pre-printed cards.

Which ribbon you want comes down to the card and the job. Pick the black ribbon for large batches of plain cards where cost per print matters. Choose the white ribbon when your card stock is coloured or dark. The YMCKO ribbon handles full-colour photo badges and visitor passes.
