FARGO DTC400 Ribbons

FARGO DTC400 ribbons are the printer ribbons that load into a DTC400 ID card printer. The same category carries the DTC1000, DTC4000 and DTC4250 parts, so you keep printing ID cards without a break. The range covers single-colour ribbons, full-colour YMCKOK ribbons and a 1000-print black for busy print runs.

Start with what you actually print. The everyday black ribbon for a DTC400 is the Standard Black Ribbon 45102, which handles text and barcodes; the Premium Black Ribbon 45101 is the step up from it. The Premium Black 44231 is the 1000-print DTC400 part. Spot-colour ribbons cover the jobs where one shade does the work: red 45105, blue 45103 and white 45106 for reversed or dark-card designs. Those 45100-series ribbons are all listed for the DTC1000, DTC4000 and DTC400, so a single part number covers all three printers.

The full-colour ribbon for a DTC4000 or DTC4250 is the YMCKOK 45110. For a DTC400 it is the 200-print YMCKOK 44240. YMCKOK is the panel layout: the colour panels, an overlay and a second black panel for the text and barcodes that need to sit crisply alongside a photo.

The monochrome ribbons suit staff passes, membership cards and visitor badges where colour is not the priority. YMCKOK is the one to pick for photo ID and branded cards.
