HiTi ribbons are the printing consumables that put your design onto a plastic card, whether that is plain text in a single colour or a full photo ID in colour. Each one is matched to HiTi ID card printers, so the ribbon feeds cleanly and lays down the image at the yield it is rated for.

Which HiTi ribbon you need comes down to what you print and how many. The monochrome ribbons each print around 1,000 images. The full-colour YMCKO ribbon prints around 400.

The HiTi monochrome black ribbon is £11.00 and handles everyday text and barcodes. At £18.00, the monochrome white ribbon prints the same volume in white on dark or coloured cards. Gold and silver monochrome ribbons cost £46.00 each and give metallic detailing on badges and membership cards. The HiTi YMCKO ribbon is £43.43. It lays down yellow, magenta, cyan, a black panel and a clear overlay, so photographs and logos print in full colour with a protective finish added as it prints.

Black is the workhorse for staff passes and visitor cards where cost per print matters most. White, gold and silver suit branded or premium cards that need to stand out. YMCKO is the one to reach for when you need faces and full colour on the card.
