Magicard Ultima Ribbons

Magicard Ultima ribbons and film are the consumables for Magicard's Ultima retransfer printers. An Ultima uses two of them: the clear retransfer film that carries the image onto the card and the coloured dye film that forms the image itself. Retransfer printing uses both together, so this range stocks each part on its own and as a combined set.

The Magicard HE1000RT is the retransfer film. It covers 1,000 images and transfers the finished print onto the card surface. On the colour side, the HE1000YMCK dye film gives 1,000 full-colour prints. The two 750-image dye films differ in their final panel. The HE750YMCKS carries a security overlay. The HE750YMCKK adds a second black panel for the reverse of the card, which makes it the one to order if you print dual-sided cards. Either 750-image dye film runs out before a 1,000-image retransfer film does, so expect to reorder dye more often than film.
