Zebra ZXP Series 7 Laminates

Zebra ZXP Series 7 laminates are the films that seal and protect a printed card, adding a hard-wearing outer layer that guards against everyday wear and makes tampering obvious. Every ZXP7 laminate roll is 1 mil and rated at 750 images, so cost per card stays predictable across a print run.

The range splits two ways: top film or bottom film, clear or holographic. Top and bottom laminates are ordered separately, so a card laminated on both faces needs one roll of each. The clear top laminate is part number 800085-914 and the clear bottom laminate is 800085-918. Both give straightforward protection. Where the card carries a magnetic stripe or a contact chip, choose the clear bottom laminate with magnetic stripe clearance or the clear bottom laminate with smart card clearance. Each one leaves that part of the card uncovered so it still reads.

The hologram top laminate comes in four repeating designs: World Globe, Eagle, Lock and Safe Design. All are hard to copy and quick to check by eye. The hologram bottom laminate is made in World Globe only, so that is the design to use for a hologram on both faces.

Clear films suit cards where durability is the main concern, such as leisure passes and membership cards. The holographic options suit staff ID badges and access control cards.
