Zebra P420i Ribbons

These are genuine Zebra ribbons for the P420i dual-sided card printer, covering black text, full-colour photo ID and specialist security panels. The ribbon you load decides what the printer can produce, so matching it to the job matters more than almost any other consumable choice.

For black text only, the Premium Black Monochrome 800015-501 and the KdO black dye ribbon with overlay 800015-450 handle everyday cards. Black resin ribbons for the P420i are rated by image count: the 800015-101 gives 1,000 images and the 800015-301 gives 1,500. Resin gives the harder, more durable print that suits barcodes and cards taking daily contact.

Single-colour ribbons cover red (800015-102), blue (800015-104), gold (800015-106) and silver (800015-107) where you want a consistent brand colour across a batch. Gold stock is limited at the moment.

The full-colour ribbon for the P420i is the YMCKOK 800015-448, which prints colour on the front with a second black panel for the reverse. The half-panel YMC with full-panel KO 800015-547 prints a photo-sized colour area plus full-panel black and overlay on one side, cheaper per card when only the photo needs colour. The KrO 800015-460 pairs a black resin panel with an overlay. The grey scratch-off panel 800015-185 covers PINs or hidden data.

Monochrome ribbons suit staff passes and visitor cards, while colour and resin combinations suit membership, access and photo ID cards where wear and appearance both count. Tell us your card volume and what needs to be on each side, then Plastic ID will point you to the right P420i ribbon for your run.
