Controlsoft

Controlsoft key fobs and tags are the credentials your staff present to a reader to open a door. The range covers the 125kHz proximity and 13.56MHz MIFARE formats used on most UK access control systems. They work alongside Controlsoft door controllers and readers, giving each person a token for a keyring or lanyard.

The choice comes down to the technology your readers expect. The 125kHz proximity credentials are the AC-7101 fob (product code 21-2110-FOB), the slimmer AC-7102 thin keyfob (21-5340) and the AC-7103 sticker tag (21-5330). On 13.56MHz MIFARE, the AC-7145 (21-1040-FOB-CS) is the general purpose fob. The IA-MFK (21-1040-CS-IA-FOB) is a MIFARE fob that comes pre-programmed for the Controlsoft IA access control system and pre-printed with the Controlsoft logo, so it is the one to order for an IA system.

Proximity tokens read the moment they are near the reader, while MIFARE adds the option of stored data on the token itself. The sticker tags suit anyone adding a credential to a card or device they already carry. If you are adding tokens to a system already installed, order the same format your existing fobs use.

Everything here is priced per token, with a minimum order quantity of 10 on the fobs. If you know your reader type, matching is straightforward.
