The new 2XL+ card printer is based on a proven dye-sublimation printer, which is used in numerous international events such as sporting events, concerts, and fairs for producing passes, including VIP and backstage passes and official accreditation for performers, participants and organisers.
The 2XL+’s fast print speed, low noise level, compact and lightweight design and ease of use make it the ideal events printer.
Printing up to 180 cards per hour in full colour or over 1,300 monochrome cards per hour, on-site personalisation of passes is now a real possibility.
The 2XL+ is also extremely economical, being among the least expensive in its class.
Two sizes of pre-printed cards can be used in the 2XL+ printer, and with three selectable printing positions, this gives great flexibility to the overall design of the cards.
Furthermore, if contactless chip encoding is required, this can also be done using this printer.

About the Zebra ZC10L Large Format Card Printer
The Zebra ZC10L is a large format plastic card printer suited to use in the hospitality and events sector, lending itself to producing high-quality event passes, delegate badges or visitor badges. The ZC10L is the only direct-to-card printer on the market that is capable of printing full-colour cards with an edge-to-edge print, all in one process! The printer makes it possible to produce event passes that are personalised and printed on the spot for event attendees.
Prints on large format cards (approx. 88 x 140mm)
Since the printer uses a full-colour print process, each card can be personalised with a photo ID or varying graphics or colours for different delegate types. Furthermore, monochrome black elements such as names, QR codes or 2D barcodes can be printed quickly and at a high quality for easy scanning.
Zebra has developed a full-colour ribbon for use with the ZC10L and a monochrome black ribbon. The black ribbon is ideal for adding personalisation to pre-printed cards. Many event organisers also use the black ribbon to pre-print cards with instructions or fine print to the backs of their event badges before the event.
Outstanding print quality
Thanks to 300dpi print resolution, the ZC10L delivers exceptional image quality, particularly noticeable when printing more complex background graphics and design elements. This allows the user to create stunning badges that event attendees will remember. In addition to this, adding company logos and branding is easy, and your brand will not be compromised by low print quality or inaccurate colours.
Reducing waste and saving time
Since the ZC10L can print the entire face of the card, for some users, this can eliminate the need for ordering in a stock of pre-printed cards with the design on. As a result, there is less chance of ending up with excess card stock after the event, thus reducing waste and saving money.
However, a fast print speed is required for some events that are required to produce larger quantities of passes on the spot. In this instance, we'd recommend ordering in card stock that is pre-printed with your design so that all you need to do is add the monochrome personalisation, like names and QR codes. This saves time because monochrome printing is considerably faster than full-colour printing.
Ease of use
The ZC10L can be paired with card production software such as CardExchange or Zebra CardStudio to make badge production stress-free. Designing event badges on card production software is intuitive, and connecting the software directly to a database of event attendees makes card personalisation simple and fast.
The printer is reasonably compact and unobtrusive design, allowing it to fit seamlessly into any office environment. The LED display is straightforward to use and makes the navigation of printer settings easier.
