About the Matica XL8300 Oversized XL Card Printer

Standard CR80 cards run out of room fast when a pass needs to carry accreditation detail, event branding and a security feature all at once.

The XL8300 fixes that by printing oversized 85.6mm x 124mm cards, the largest print area of any ID card printer on the market. That extra space means a single pass can hold full accreditation information and branding without either one getting squeezed.

Print quality holds up at 300 dpi full-colour retransfer, so cards can be styled for anything from a corporate ID badge to a full festival pass. Add UV printing with UV-compatible ribbons for a visible security layer, or upgrade to contactless encoding where the card also needs to control access, and the result is a pass that looks right and does its job at the door.

That combination of size, print quality and security options makes the XL8300 useful well beyond events too. Any business needing an oversized identification card benefits from the extra space, whether that's staff ID, visitor passes or contractor credentials.
