ID accessories are the fittings that turn a printed card into a pass someone can wear all day. The lanyard is where most staff start. The Rainbow NHS printed lanyard, part 06-1006-RW-NHS, is sold in packs of 10 for healthcare teams who need a hard-wearing neck strap that holds a card, pass holder or keys through a full shift on the ward.

The Rainbow NHS lanyard is 15mm wide polyester, the flat woven material used for most workplace lanyards. The NHS logo is printed on it in white. It carries a double breakaway, two black plastic release points that let the strap come apart if it is caught or pulled sharply and then clip back together. That double breakaway is what buyers mean by a safety breakaway lanyard. It matters wherever anything worn round the neck needs to give way under pressure.

At the bottom sits a metal trigger clip, the spring-loaded hook you find on a keyring. It holds a card holder or badge reel securely and unclips quickly when someone hands their pass to a reader. The rainbow design suits nurses, healthcare assistants, porters and admin staff across a trust.
