PriceCardPro 100 Printer

The PriceCardPro 100 is Magicard's fantastic entry-level price sign printer. It's a compact, hand-fed card printer that suits a small business printing price signs rather than a high-volume counter. Feed a card in and it prints a high-quality full colour or monochrome CR80 price sign in seconds.

How it prints

Its dye-sublimation technology can print up to 300dpi, giving crisp, photo-quality output whether you're running monochrome or full colour. Monochrome speeds reach up to 766 cards per hour, full colour YMCKO up to 200 an hour, though as a hand-fed printer you're loading one card at a time rather than running an unattended batch. It connects via USB or Ethernet and works with Windows, Mac and Linux.

Small enough for anywhere

At 208mm x 179mm x 309mm and 2.9kg, it fits on a desktop, tucks under a counter or sits in a back room out of the way, so your shop floor stays clear for product displays rather than equipment.

Design options

Cards come in a range of finishes, including black, white, slate, red and green, so the sign itself can match your shop's look before you've even printed on it. Pair it with the PriceCardPro software to add barcodes, allergen icons, product descriptions and your own branding to each design.

The 100 is the right starting point for single-sided CR80 cards. If you need longer cards up to 150mm for more detail, double-sided printing or a longer warranty, the PriceCardPro Flex+ is the step up.

What else you'll need

The printer is sold on its own, so you'll want a PriceCardPro ribbon and a stock of CR80 price signs to go with it. Matt black is the most popular finish for a high-contrast display but white, slate and colour options are available if you want something that suits your shop's branding rather than the default.

Does it feed cards automatically?

No, it's hand-fed, so you insert one card at a time. That suits a business printing signs as needed rather than running large unattended batches.

Do we need separate software for barcodes and allergen icons?

Yes, the printer itself doesn't include software. We'd recommend CardExchange PriceTag. Its easy-to-use interface makes designing cards simple with barcodes, allergen symbols and your own branding built in. It can also connect to your stock database, so as stock prices change, price tags are updated in the system automatically.

Will it fit somewhere small?
