Print quality, speed and what the N25 handles day to day

The N25 prints using direct-to-card dye-sublimation at 300 dpi. Colour and photographic detail go directly onto the card surface for a sharp, professional finish. At up to 200 full-colour cards per hour, it suits runs of dozens or hundreds of cards without the printer becoming a bottleneck. The included YMCKO ribbon (yellow, magenta, cyan, black and overlay) delivers a full-colour side with a protective clear overlay on every card.

The N25 also supports the optional YMCKOK ribbon (yellow, magenta, cyan, black, overlay, and a second black panel). It prints a full-colour front and a black-only back from a single pass, which suits ID programmes that need names, job titles or barcodes printed in black on the reverse. The monochrome print speed of up to 600 cards per hour applies when printing with a black-only ribbon.

The 100-card input hopper feeds cards automatically, so you can load a full batch and walk away. Finished cards collect in the 50-card output hopper. USB and Ethernet connectivity mean the printer can sit on a network rather than tethered to a single workstation, which suits shared offices, reception desks and distributed HR teams.

Software: PC users receive CardExchange Go, an entry-level design tool suited to straightforward ID card templates. If your programme requires a database connection, larger record sets or more complex card designs, a software upgrade to IDAssist is available to select before you complete your purchase.

Important: The Pointman Nuvia N25 is not currently compatible with macOS. Windows users can connect and print without additional configuration. If you work on a Mac, please contact the team before ordering.

Card security and optional encoding upgrades

The base bundle prints onto blank PVC cards and does not include encoding. For access control programmes, the N25 can be factory-upgraded with optional encoding modules. Available options are magnetic stripe encoding (ISO 7811, Tracks 1, 2 and 3, HiCo/LoCo), contact smart card encoding (ISO 7816) and contactless smart card encoding (MIFARE / ISO 14443). Warranty, genuine ribbons and ongoing supplies

The Pointman Nuvia N25 Printer Bundle comes with a 3-year limited warranty. Using genuine Pointman ribbons is the straightforward way to keep that warranty intact.

The bundle includes the Pointman 66200740 full-colour YMCKO ribbon, which yields 200 prints per roll. Replacement YMCKO ribbons are available to order when you need to restock. The Pointman 66200030-A black monochrome ribbon prints up to 1,000 images per roll and suits badge programmes where cards carry only black text, barcodes or numbering. Additional blank white PVC cards in standard CR80 format are available in packs of 100.

If you need a single-sided printer or a lower entry point, the Pointman Nuvia N15 Single-Sided Printer suits programmes where the back of the card carries no printed information. The Pointman Nuvia N15 Printer Bundle pairs it with the same ribbon and card supply for a ready-to-print kit.
