About our Contractor Lanyards

This lanyard is pre-printed with "CONTRACTOR" and comes in six colours: yellow, green, red, orange, grey, or blue, with a plastic clip for attaching ID cards, access badges, or a set of keys. A health and safety breakaway is fitted as standard, releasing safely if it's ever caught or pulled, then clipping straight back together.

Choosing the Right Colour for Your Contractors

Yellow and orange both carry the international association with caution and hazard warnings, the same colours used for hazard tape and high-visibility workwear, which makes them a natural fit for construction sites, warehouses, and manufacturing environments where contractors need to stand out at a glance. Red works similarly well on busy industrial floors where quick visual identification matters most.

Grey and blue suit contractors working in office or corporate settings, IT support, maintenance, or cleaning contractors, for example, where a hi-vis colour would look out of place against a smart reception area. Green offers a calmer, more neutral alternative if you're already using the brighter colours elsewhere in your colour-coding system and need one more that doesn't compete for attention.
