Pre-Printed Lanyards

Pre-printed lanyards carry a role or status printed straight into the strap, so a glance tells you who is staff, who is a visitor, who is a contractor and who is first-aid qualified. They save you printing your own and give a site a readable visual system at reception, on a ward or at a school gate. Most of the range is 15mm wide and supplied in a pack of 100. The breakaway safety fitting releases under load so a lanyard cannot become a snag hazard.

The clip is the main decision. Most plastic-clip packs are £38 and the metal-clip packs £49, with a metal lobster clip on the contractor version and metal dog clips on the NHS Scotland and NHS Wales lanyards.

Wording and colour are chosen separately. Staff lanyards come in grey, blue, red and black. Visitor lanyards come in red, blue, yellow and black. Contractor lanyards come in blue and yellow, with student lanyards in black and purple. Printed wording covers employee, contractor, student, sixth form, temporary, volunteer, first aid and police. First aid comes as a 15mm lanyard with a black plastic clip at £38 or as green first aid lanyards at £64.50 a pack.

NHS lanyards start at £42 for a blue lanyard with a double health and safety breakaway. The triple breakaway version is £48.95 a pack. The NHS Scotland and NHS Wales lanyards run to £135 a pack.
