About iCLASS Key II Smart Keyfob 2K
The iCLASS Key provides the security and convenience of iCLASS contactless smart card technology in a moulded plastic key fob that is durable in harsh environments.
The smart key is small and convenient and can be carried with your keys in your pocket, handbag or on lanyards.
HID has now discontinued this product. The ProxKey III is a replacement for the ProxKey II.
This is a custom product, and turnaround is estimated at 5-7 working days however, we can confirm an exact lead time on receipt of the enquiry.
As this is a custom product, we cannot accept returns unless they are faulty.
This product is made of PVC plastic which is not commonly recycled in the UK. It, therefore, cannot be disposed of in your regular recycling refuse collection.
We recommend taking it to your local recycling centre for a securer and more eco-friendly disposal.
How to Order iCLASS Key II Smart Keyfob 2K
To ensure that these cards are encoded correctly, please provide us with the reference number printed on an existing card or box. This is usually 7-9 numbers long and is printed on the bottom right-hand side of the card if held horizontally.

The Smart BIT Shredder has two-speed options, a standard and fast mode shredding speed depending on the user's requirements. It is incredibly easy to use, taking just 60 seconds to set up. The auto-stop feature means the machine will automatically stop once the job has been completed or when the waste bag is full, saving valuable time.
Twisted Micro-Cut Technology
The Smart BIT Shredder’s unique twist and cut motion shreds the ribbon into tiny unrecognisable particles. Once shredded, the particle sizes are approximately 2.5mm, meaning they are unreadable and unable to be put back together. Once the waste bag is full, just empty this into a standard waste bin and restart the process.
Flexibility
The lightweight design means the shredder can easily move from location to location. The machine will fit nicely onto a standard office desktop space in terms of size.
Compatibility
The big plus point for the Smart Bit shredder and the reason we believe it will be one of our best-selling products is the fact that it is not restricted to just IPD Smart ribbons. The shredder is fully compatible with all leading printer manufacturer brands and can shred dye-sub, wax and resin ribbons from 60mm to 90mm. However, it is not advisable to put lamination films into the machine.
Speed
The Smart BIT can shred up to 20 meters of ribbon per minute when opting for the fast mode. That’s an incredible 1,200 meters an hour.

The XID8300 prints on standard CR-80 cards in PVC, ABS, PET and polycarbonate, giving you scope for everything from simple visitor passes through to durable long-life credentials. It is available in single sided and double sided configurations, so choose double sided if you need to print information or security features on the reverse. To keep the lifetime printhead warranty in place you should run genuine EDIsecure ribbons and retransfer film. Frequently asked questions
What is retransfer printing and why does it matter? Retransfer prints the image onto a clear film first then fuses that film to the card. This produces over-the-edge coverage with no white border and gives noticeably sharper results than direct-to-card printing, especially on smart cards with uneven surfaces.
Can the XID8300 print double sided? Yes. The printer is offered in single sided and double sided versions and its modular design lets you add capability as your needs change.

The HID FARGO INK1000 is the first desktop ID card printer to use popular inkjet technology – just like a normal office printer or copier!
The printer is easy to use, just like any other inkjet printer, but the difference is that this printer is capable of printing onto ordinary PVC cards. There’s no need to use a specific card type – it will print onto the same PVC cards that you would use with any other plastic card printer.
Achieve brilliant colours and print resolution with the FARGO INK1000. 600 dpi x 1200 dpi print resolution makes for crisp text, barcodes and sharp photos.
So, what’s the benefit of inkjet technology over dye sublimation? Simply, less wastage, greater sustainability! The ribbon cassettes used in other printers can sometimes result in wasted panels, equalling wasted prints. With inkjet technology, the ribbon cassettes are replaced by efficient ink cartridges, much like a typical office or home inkjet printer. There’s less plastic waste created by using ink cartridges over ribbon cassettes, and makes a more sustainable option for small to medium organisations that don’t print large quantities of cards.
Another benefit of ink cartridges over ribbon cassettes is that instead of data being transferred onto the used ribbon panels, ink cartridges don’t pick up any printed data and therefore eliminate a potential GDPR breach, however small it may be.
