HID FARGO Ribbons

HID FARGO ID card printer ribbons put text, photos and colour onto your cards, matched to your printer. Start with your printer model number.

The range covers the HDP5000, HDP5600 and HDP8500 retransfer machines, the DTC550, DTC4500 and DTC5500 direct-to-card printers and the C30. Cards are CR80 at 85.6 x 54mm.

The panel code tells you what a full-colour set includes. YMCKO ribbons print photo-quality cards in one pass: 500 prints on the DTC550 ribbon 86200, 250 on the C30 ribbon 44200. YMCK sets leave the overlay off, so 084511 gives 500 prints and 084921 gives 750. YMCKK ribbons add a second black panel for black on the reverse, in 84052, 84912 and DTC4500 45215. YMCKOK sets 45210, DTC5500 45710 and C30 44210 keep the overlay too. YMCFK ribbons 84061 and 084514 add a fluorescing panel for a UV mark. YMCKI 84515 and YMCKIKI 84519 leave chosen areas unprinted for contact chips and signature panels. YMCKH ribbons 84056 and 84513 pair with HDP retransfer film.

Half-panel ribbons 84517 and DTC4500 45214 cut cost per card when colour covers only a photo and a line of text. For black-only printing, premium black 84060 runs 3000 images. Ribbon 84518 suits staff passes and visitor badges. DTC4500 45213 is black with overlay.

Holographic Polyguard 1.0mil overlaminate and the Orbit design 82618 protect cards handled daily. Retransfer printers take clear film 84500 or 84800 at 1500 images. Prices run GBP 89 to GBP 340.
