Zebra ZXP Series 8 Laminates

Zebra ZXP Series 8 laminates are the genuine 1 mil overlay films that run on the Z83 and Z84 laminating stations fitted to the ZXP Series 8 retransfer printer, sealing a finished card behind a tough protective layer. The overlay guards the printed surface against abrasion, everyday handling and tampering, which matters most on cards expected to last several years in a pocket or on a lanyard.

Clear Top (800084-914) and Clear Bottom (800084-918) are ordered separately, so laminating both faces means a roll of each. For cards carrying a magnetic stripe or a contact chip, the Magnetic Stripe Clearance film (800084-912) and the Smart Card Chip Clearance film (800084-913) leave a cut-out so the stripe or chip still works once the card is sealed. Match the clearance film to your card build.

The ZXP Series 8 hologram laminates come in set designs: Safe (800082-008), Eagle (800082-009), Lock (800082-010) and Safe2 Top (800082-011). Each lays a holographic pattern across the card face as a visible security feature.

Every ZXP Series 8 clear film runs 625 images per roll and every hologram film 600, so an order can be sized to your print volume. Card bureaux and security teams reach for the hologram films where visual authentication counts, while offices issuing standard staff passes are usually well served by a plain clear overlay.
