Datacard SP25 Ribbons

Datacard SP25 ribbons are the genuine YMCKT colour ribbons for the SP25 card printer, used to print full colour photo ID cards, staff badges and access credentials. Part 534000-112 gives 125 images and part 534000-002 gives 250, so you can match yield to how many cards you print between changes.

Both use the YMCKT panel set. It lays down the three colour panels (yellow, magenta and cyan) for a full colour image, then a black resin panel (K) for sharp text and barcodes, followed by a clear overlay (T) that seals the card surface. Print quality is the same from either one, so the decision comes down to yield and cost per card.

The 125 image SP25 ribbon, part 534000-112, is £85.00, roughly 68p an image. The 250 image ribbon, part 534000-002, is £92.75, roughly 37p an image, so it costs less per card provided you get through the whole ribbon. Each yield figure is per ribbon.
