Magicard here covers the card printers, printheads and finishing kit for producing your own ID and access cards in-house. The range spans single-sided desktop machines like the Pronto and Magicard 300 through to dual-sided and retransfer systems such as the Prima 8 and Ultima, where the print is laid onto film for a cleaner edge-to-edge finish. If you are running events, the E+ Event printer handles dual-sided cards on the day.
Choosing usually comes down to volume and card quality. A Pronto or 300 suits lower-run staff badges, while the 600 and retransfer models handle higher throughput and encoded cards. The Prima laminators (Uno and Duo) add durability where cards get heavy daily handling. We also stock replacement printheads for older Rio, Tango, Avalon and Enduro models, plus carry cases. Not sure which machine or printhead matches your setup? Get in touch with Plastic-ID.com and we will confirm the right fit.
