Powered by a high-grade processing unit with an impressive array of features, Ultima is ideal for the localised or centralised issue of high volumes of secure smart cards.   An intuitive touch screen with print preview and supplies indicators provides an easy-to-use interface to Magicard’s most advanced and durable print engine. Ultima enables you to print up to 100 high-definition full-colour cards per hour. The Ultima retransfer printer has built-in visual security via up to 10 secure HoloKote® watermarks. High-quality reverse transfer card printing The key to the Magicard Ultima is the reverse transfer (also called retransfer) printing process. Unlike the standard dye sublimation process, your card design is first printed on a clear film and then adheres to the card surface. This process gives you a higher definition of print quality and allows you to print successfully, even on smart cards with uneven surfaces. It also gives you additional card durability and tampers resistance so that the cards will last longer. This package is ideal for large trade shows and events, alongside further education such as large universities, colleges, and other organisations. The printers included in the Ultimate package can be used for adding personalisation to pre-printed cards, or for creating full designs on blank cards. Direct-to-card printers do not print over the edge of the card, and therefore may leave a white space around the card. Laptop with CardExchange™ Ultimate for use with ID Card Printer - 7 Day Rental  If your job is time sensitive or you don’t have time to set up a badge design in CardExchange™ then we can supply you with a laptop, already loaded with your card design, so you just need to plug in the printer, load your data and start printing. Using our rental printer also means you don't have to worry about installing printer drivers and card management software on your own computer or laptop, a process that can be especially time consuming and problematic if you don't have the admin rights on your work machines. We ensure that the laptop is wiped of all data when it is returned to us, in case you forget to do this, so your data remains secure and isn't accidentally passed on to the next user. The laptop comes complete with a tough Peli case for easy and secure transportation. Please note this item is just for the rental of the laptop, ID Card printers must be selected separately.
