The dual-sided version manages up to 150 full-colour cards an hour, or 500 in monochrome, printing both sides in the same pass. A completely reworked card hopper keeps a badging programme running smoothly rather than needing constant attention, and it handles more than standard photo ID, with employee badges, membership cards, gift cards and loyalty cards all possible. Built-In Security AES data encryption protects card data as it's sent to the printer, and printer-to-host authentication stops unauthorised devices sending print jobs to it over a network. A Kensington lock point on the printer cover protects both the printer and any card stock or rejected cards inside it from being taken, which is useful when it's sitting in a public-facing space rather than a locked office. Encoding and Connectivity Magnetic stripe encoding (high and low coercivity) and contactless encoding are both available, so the ZC350 can produce access control cards alongside standard photo ID.
