Sales Executive salary up to £30,000

Full time 40 hours a week

Monday to Friday

28 days Holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays

This is an office based role – not remote or hybrid            

Due to continuous development and growth, we are now looking for an additional team member for our sales team to provide hospitality, retail, & food outlets with essential labelling, gift cards, loyalty card products and software.

As a Sales Executive, you'll identify new areas for business, plan your day to meet potential and existing customers to provide a product they will use within their business.  You'll need to be a self-starter with the ability to deliver results. 

Job role specifics:

Business Development

 

  • Developing new business through new customers, industry sectors and product offering, within agreed margins
  • Work with the businesses Directors to develop an effective business growth strategy backed up by goals and an operational plan
  • Identify and approach new sectors, industries and business opportunities
  • Work with the team to implement the business plans
  • Deliver ad hoc business improvement projects
  • Provide regular reports on the relevant KPIs

 

Sales

 

  • Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email and chat
  • Preparing quotations and following them through to conclusion utilising proactive follow up methods
  • Select key account management: developing accounts through customer relationship management, strategic sales and product support.Gathering customer information relevant to sale/future sale and utilising CRM to effectively track the lifecycle of every enquiry/lead and customer
  • Having final say on customer and operational issues (to minimise Director involvement)
  • Following up all sales leads and quotes in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the CRM is kept up to date with details of all sales and enquiries
  • Supporting tender applications
  • Attending customer meetings
  • On site and remote demos
  • Working to our SLAs and KPIs
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets

General

 

  • Playing an active role in promoting the company
  • Support the team to provide the highest level of customer service and marketing services
  • Any other reasonable duties as and when required

 

Skills Required:

 

  • Excellent English language skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident and competent communicator – written and spoken
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Sales Executive or Account Management role
  • Technical aptitude and keen to learn about new technologies and solutions
