HID 2121 iCLASS has been created for diverse applications including but not limited to cashless vending, access control, biometric identification, retail loyalty systems, network log-on security, airline ticketing, transport ticketing, etc.  The proximity card successfully combines Wiegand technology with iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless read/write technology to produce a single smart card to create a one-card solution that allows the user to easily transition from a Wiegand reader to HID iCLASS technology readers and the cards can be used for numerous applications.  Special features such as anti-counterfeiting watermarks, magnetic stripes, and barcodes can be applied to the card using a capable ID card printer.
