Frequently Asked Questions
How long can I rent a Plastic-ID printer for?
Plastic-ID offers a minimum term of 7 days for our rental printers, with no maximum rental term.
What is your cancellation policy for printer rentals?
If you wish to cancel your printer rental, a small charge will be applied based on the notice given.
If the booking is cancelled 7 days before the period of hire commences, 25% of the hire charge will be added to your charge.
If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the date when the period of hire was due to commence, the hirer shall be liable to pay the company a cancellation charge of 50% of the hire charge.
How do I return the printer once the rental period is over?
The original hire charge includes return shipping, so all you need to do is provide the location of where you want it to be returned from and include any other special instructions for collection.
You can add this information in the comments field when ordering your printer rental.
What is the typical cost of renting an ID card printer?
This varies depending on options selected and length of agreed rental period, however as a rough guide, it usually sits around £250-£500. For accurate pricing, fill out our form above and our expert team will work with you to provide the best solution tailored to your needs.
Is shipping included in the cost of my rental printer package?
Yes! Outbound and return shipping is included in the hire cost.

Yes. We include a 30-minute phone call with all our printer rentals to assist you with setting up the equipment and card design – enabling you to start printing.
