Securit 5400 uses an internal, MS Access based, user-definable database to personalize ID Cards and gives you the flexibility, security and reliability that you would expect. A complete package with advanced features, Securit 5400 supports all forms of contact (barcode, magstripe, chip) and contactless (Mifare, iClass, LEGIC) encoding. You control the card issuing process from creating the database and the card layout to the printing of the card.

Securit 5400's enhanced features are password protected, import and export of data including photos, combining static and dynamic text, easy setting of expiry dates. Each record can contain more than one picture and besides the passport size picture you can add a signature. With Securit 5400 a user can easily design a desired internal MS Access database for use. However, the 5400 does not need MS Access software. The database can contain as many badge layouts as the user would like to have.

An important feature of the 5400 is the automatic layout selection. This enables the user to create dropdown lists where the layouts are connected to the selected item. This means that if you have several different layouts, you can batch print and the 5400 will automatically select the correct layout. Dates, numbers and fixed text can be automatically stored after an action (such as adding a record, capturing a photo or printing a card) allowing you to track a record.
